Not sure why Mcleish is not playing Makoun. But i think he will make us a much more creative team and ensure we remain in possesion of the ball. If he does not play hm Tuesday. I think he might be sold in this window .........
I think AM has seen that we need more bite in midfield hence why he is playing Delph, and we cant accommodate both Petrov and Makoun without losing a forward outlet. Petrov is also the most experienced out of the two of them and has so far deserved his place.

I would like to see the team starting as strongly as possible (they need to get match fit and they cannot be tired yet!) apart from Given who is obviously carrying a knock

Get a few goals up then take off the key players

What Hookey said. Don't want to see too much tinkering aside from maybe Given rested and leave a couple of others on the bench but not 11 changes.

I would definitely have Gardner involved in this one.

Nah, Hereford are awful and I think we need to give minutes to the likes of Bannan, Fonz, Ireland and Makoun to make them feel part of things.

3-1.

I think you will find Hereford is in England.

They are Welsh because it annoys them.

I'd go with:

                           Guzan

Lichaj        Collins(C)        Clark        Baker

          Makoun      Gardner      Bannan

                Albrighton      Ireland

                        Delfouneso

Marshall,  Dunne, Warnock, Delph, Herd, Johnson, Bent

But I dont expect he will at all.

You're probably confusing us with Shrewsbury Town boyo.

Hope we treat the game seriously because i think this will be a really enjoyable game for us to practice and show some good skills and football, I would put out a serious team in order for them to get some game time, I would put out Bent, Gabby (if not injured) Heskey and Delf to get in amongst the goals and ready for Wolves.

Should be a bit of a treat hopefully.

Hereford is 16 mile east of the Welsh border. But apparently there sheep are known to have many relatives from down the road. And are regular callers on "Helpline" ..........

I think it's virtually impossible to predict a team, other than the obvious of saying 'here will be changes'.  Personally, I'd like to see Bannan get a start, but other than that I think Given, Gabby and Young will be rested/not risked.  One of Collins or Dunne to play with Clark.  Think Bent might play and get taken off if we're a few goals to the good.  Albrighton to start and I think he'll play N'Zog for match fitness.  So....

Guzan

Lichaj
Clark
Dunne/Collins
Warnock

Makoun
Hogg

Albrighton
Bannan
N'Zogbia

Bent

Result wise I'll 3or4-1 with them getting a late consolation goal.

Get the game won then make changes. A cup run is what we need this year.

I wouldn't risk more than two or three players who will get a start against Wolves and definitely would not pick Given, Luke Young or Gabby who seem to be carrying knocks or Bent as if he gets injured we would be in trouble.
