Who is actually going to sing anything for McLeish? We are going to watch the team not "him".
Don't forget where he came from

Barrhead?

And who are the local Barrhead team? Arthurlie. Formed in??? 1874. In1905 Villa bought James Logan from Arthurlie to Villa Park and he played 157 times scoring 4 goals before leaving in 1912 to return to Rangers. His brother Alexander Logan played for Villa in the 1905-06 before moving back north to Falkirk. Villa also got Willie Young from Arthurlie in 1977-78  resulting in the biggest cheque ever in Arthurlie”s history, from Aston Villa, and it’s framed and in the dressing room.

Is it any wonder that in reality he was a sleeping agent all this time? relegated them once, got carried away (to be fair he surrounded himself with so many other agents at St Andrews its no real surprise they had that innate Cup winning mentality). Once he realized what he'd done he did what any agent would do in his position. He rallied his troops and saw there was only  one way out of the mess he created. Get them relegated. You watch that last minute cross go into the box at White Hart Lane and try not to snigger as Agent Ridgewell clearly pulls his head away from a simple goalscoring opportunity. Watch it again and you can almost hear Kevin Costner describe agent Ridgwell's head movement (back, and to the left...back, and to the left...).

So, I suppose reading what Hookeysmith posted. Remembering him getting pissed off after beating us in the League Cup and calling their fans "small time". Its becoming more and more clear. Next time we look at him, next time anger is welling at his past just smile, shake your head knowingly and welcome home Agent McLeish  whilst saying back, and to the left...

Fantastic stuff AM (ooh, look, Aston Manor's initials are the same as our manager).
I'm going to have to go and watch Arthurlie now.

Fair play to Aston Manor for that....never expected to see a post about Arthurlie on here. My missus is from Barrhead (and her granny used to live a couple of doors down from one Alex McLeish).

Erm, do I win 5 pounds?

I would wait a few weeks before having a song for him, could come back to bite ya.
Every manager that I can think of has had his name sung down the villa, even DOL. Don't see why McLeish should be any different.

This.

I'd have a laugh singing this one.

I love it.
