A song for Alex
« on: August 16, 2011, 07:42:28 PM »
To the tune of 'The animals went in 2 by 2':

He left your club to come to us, McLeish, McLeish.
He left your club to come to us, McLeish, McLeish.
The king of the town he took you down,
for that the man deserves a crown.
He's now at Villa, big old Al McLeish!

I still like this one (which came from Leeg in the first place?):

Well Big Eck is a Villan, we used to hate his guts,
but now he's at a big club, we love his ginger nuts.
Now he's found redemption, forgiven for his sins,
the Blose are in the Championship still eating out of bins.

Not sure the Nacional fans will understand that one.

I'd be quite happy never to hear that  again. West Ham do it as do Burnley even Sunny Scunny do it.
And there's all the other colours under the sun armies.
A bit of originality wouldn't go amiss.

Every manager that I can think of has had his name sung down the villa, even DOL. Don't see why McLeish should be any different.

I'd have a laugh singing this one.
