Will be on the train to Edinburgh when the game is on today, but hoping to get VillaStreams working ok with Eastcoast train's WIFI.

Would just like to say I hope we get the season off to a rocking start! Let's have a blinding season! Let's stuff it up the critics, doubters and naysayers!

Up The Villa, C'mon you Lions!!

Ohhhhh great goal from Bent, Shit and another!!!....Just practicing  ;D

Having taken that particular route many many times, I wish you a lot of luck getting that on the WiFi, because you will need it. About as reliable as Heskey trying to hit a banjo's arse.

I would have started Makoun, we need him to keep things ticking over.

That's an odd one. Looks weak in midfield and geared to play direct on the break. Lacking in creativity and a bit predictable I reckon. We'll see.

Hasn't delph been really out of form in pre season?

And I don't really think gabby and bent are natural partners. If they fo play together would prefer bannan or Ireland wide and cutting in, with gabby working the channels.

Could be dangerous on the break with this side though.

What?!  Heskey, Agbonlahor and Bent?  Another manager who thinks Heskey is worth a place.  Great.
