Went to Nice for my honetmoon 2 weeks ago and went to Grasse for a day and saw a kid in a Villa shirt with no sponsor.  Gave him and up the Villa and got a confussed look from him and his family.  Was it anyone from here?

I use my faithful faded Villa coffee mug - old stripy badge circa 2007 - every day at work.

Had a chat the other day with a bloke in my town who liked my Villa shirt;

We talked about how brilliant we think Luke Young's gonna be pretty much.

I posted this in the "other games" thread a couple of weeks ago:

Quote
MLS all stars versus Man Utd.   What a pile of wank.

Anyway, Utd just scored and they pan around the ground to show a young lady in a New York Red Bulls jersey, holding a sign that said "Up The Villa".

Bizarre.

Had lunch and a couple of beers with a fellow H/V (Simba) at the Bell in Knysna.
One of the worlds most scenic spots and a worthy of hosting fans of the worlds greatest football team.

Painting my front door (lovely shade of claret!) old guy stopped for a chat as he noticed my hanging baskets claret and blue....he's from the south west and used to play for Villa pre and post war and knew my uncle and his two lads who also played! When he stopped playing he stayed in this neck of the woods cos he fell in love and married local girl!!!

Saw a kid clambering over rocks in the Ysgethin valley last week in a Villa shirt. Shouted "Up the Villa" which his mum responded to even if he didn't

Took my old man out the other night to have a chat about the Villa and the good times we used to share when I was younger.

Had to put it away quickly though when I heard the Mrs coming upstairs!

I'm staying in a Travelodge in Dartford tonight, and there's a car in the car park with a Villa badge on it.

My mom is currently looking after a budgie, i spent 30 mins of last night trying to get it to say 'Up the Villa'. It could only say 'Joey, Joey' before I started. Now it says 'Joey Villa'. Might move onto swear words if we lose this afternoon!
