The Green Bus experience?
« on: August 03, 2011, 05:35:30 PM »
Has anyone used the Green bus from Kingswinford to matches?
If so how is the journey?

May take advantage as it runs the end of our road in Wordsley and at £5 it might be worth a shot to have a drink or two in Aston.

Takes 2 hours though?

Get some cans to drink on the way.

I used to get the one from Atherstone.Get some beers and some headphones and it's not a bad way to get to VP.
You also get the police escort out of Aston which is always fun.

Any views on the Redditch one? Thinking of getting it from the Man on the Moon

An escort! What sort of people are on these buses?

Cans sound a good idea, plus some sarnies, a kit kat, a couple more cans and a pork pie. Could be a great day out for me and the lad (I have low expectations these days)

I was told I couldn't take a microwave on board.Hot pies would of been great.

The escort is an added bonus imo. We just kind of get tacked onto the one the away fans get!

I'd be very surprised if even a single can were allowed on an official bus. Best double check that before you march on with ya six packs.
