If they can keep Woodgate fit they really would have a formidable batch of centre halves there.
And IF your auntie had bollocks she would be your uncle

He is made of glass and finished in the pro game - never saw what all the fuss was about before he was a walking wounded

Never really paid much attention to him whilst he was at Blose but know it went pear shaped for them when he got injured, however that isnt really good enough reason to go out and sign him but if AM thought he was needed then surely he is the best man placed to make that decision...if he isnt interested then thats all we need to know. Personally I'd prefer we kept Cuellar and if funds are available then spend that on a much needed leader on the pitch in the centre midfield.

I wonder if they've paid us for Davies yet?

Good question.  Hopefully any outstanding amounts owing for Davies were off-set against the settlement for McLeish.

Very good point. I think we can kiss that money goodbye. We could always use it plus the Carlos cash, top it up and take Dann off their hands.

arsenal and chelsea linked in the papers to him recently , your insider buys the papers i take it then?

mcleish was asked about danna on his arrival but said he was out of our price range , maybe that is now not the case?

We'd have to sell Dunne.

Has anyone read Merson's book? In it he says Dann was at Walsall and he was shocking, he said that he sent him to Shrewsbury and they sent him back

so If AM can make Dann look that good , Im looking forwarding to seeing our CB's this season..

What is it with Pullis and defenders. Huth, Shawcross, Dann, and Woodgate. Dann is a good player but don't believe defence is the area we need to strengthen.

He wants to play 6 across the back?

He might not displace Dunne or Collins but he would be Dandy cover.

Woodgate had the best game by an opposition defender I have ever seen when he was playing for either Leeds or Newcastle against us. Think it was Newcastle.

Yes, I'd heard that too, but at Coventry he developed into a fine CB and lets be honest he wasn't too bad at Small Heath either.
