Great, I make that 14 new signings due, can't wait to see our new numbers 1, 4, 8, 10, 13, 15, 20, 27, 36, 37, 39, 40, 41 and 42.

I would be happy with,
1 Given or Foster
4 Naughton or Enrique (would prioritise a fb over a cb now unless Carlos is sold, right or left ok as Young can cover both)
6 Parker
8 N'Zogbia
10 Kranjcar (or a similar wide option, who could play inside as well if poss)

I'd expect us to 'fill' 1, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 15

Would've been much scarier if all those numbers had been taken, at least this shows we're looking for a number of first team players.

I don't see the appeal of reuniting Bent & Defoe, it didn't work at Spurs so why would it work here?
