Paid mad money for him imo, but i suppose the way its going AM has gotta hope he comes good as he's running out of players to pin his hopes on. Won't be long now before we get the first "Ireland not mad at all" or "Beye impresses in training" headlines.

Indeed, a cock-eyed blindman could see that he has always looked the part when he's been fit to play, so somewhat strange to be saying he has to prove himself.  It might be AM letting Delph know he's in his plans and the chance is there for him but strange way of putting it.

And wasn't it widely reported that zigic was a "present" from the board, rather than McLeish's target?
