Name Your Men
« on: July 06, 2011, 07:58:08 AM »
With the prospective departure of Downing, Young going, Bent needing a supply line, Brad going along with Reo then lets name the players we want to perhaps at least keep us in top ten of the league.

Foster/Given, Dann, N'Zogbia, and a solid left back....get Luke back on the right, bring in Bannan, Delph, Gardner, Clarke and I reckon we've got a good, youthful, attacking side

...and I would never have let NRC go. Always been a fan of his and it rankles a bit to see that he might be plying his trade up the road

At least with NRC you can guarantee he would be on considerably less at Albion than what we offered him.

Plus another striker.

What if Bent gets injured ? - Too much reliance on Bent for the goals.

Foster/Robinson, Dann/Samba, Enrique, N'Zogbia, Rodallega, Krajncar and then add the youngsters then we will be ok.

Foster, Enrique, Parker, Kranjcar (assuming Downing leaves), N'Zogbia.  If we can shift Beye, Ireland, Warnock, Heskey and Guzan then we should also pick up 2 promising young talents from the lower leagues in positions to complement and not stifle Delph, Bannan, Clark etc.

Robinson
Johnson
Hutton
Parker
Kranjcar
Owen Hargreaves ( pay as you play principle)
N'Zogbia.

Plus the fella in Portugal and the Dutch winger as above. (obviously in the case of these players we would have to give them names)
