On the plus side people getting him on the back of his shirt will bring the club a fortune in ;)

Fans disgruntled with the board's apparent lack of ambition, a thin squad, an unpopular manager and the prospect of Tommy H in a Villa shirt.  It's almost like the last six years never happened.

Meh.

Maybe. Would prefer better. He's not as bad as some make out and not as good as others say. That said we have the likes of Bannan, Delph and maybe Gary Gardner so it is a bit pointless.

This. Signing the Hitz would be yet another sign that we have regressed to the "beggars can't be choosers" category of new signings.

Hitz has a great shot but wouldn't improve our midfield. He'd also hinder the progress of Bannan and Delph.

It's a no from me.

No from me. The occasional great shot but loses the ball too easily for me. We should set our sites higher.

We like him but he is not the man we need. If we want someone for our midfield I would go for Diego and  Gervinho and Parker.

If we can turn Thomas to left back for us for rest of his career, it might be worth doing but I don't think he is good enough either.

Why not. A very good player, on a free too.

I'd rather buy a decent left back tbf. Gervinho is Arsenal bound.

Sure, he would be a good squad player and if he is on a free why not.

Avoid. A pointless signing.

This. I think I'd rather see Bannan & Delph given a run.

Just shows how football divides opinion. I just don't see him as a very good player at all. Average. And that's about it.
