Hitzlesperger - Would you be Happy with the Return!
« on: July 03, 2011, 11:16:41 AM »
As Hitzlesperger is again linked to us all over the place and rumors are we want him back! how do you lot think about the situation??

Vital-villa have run a poll and it's very undecided but i actually would love to see him back at the villa.

he is not the same player he was, he is now an international player and at West Ham before his injury every one at their club was raving about him...

see him a lot in Germany and playing for Germany and always thought that's another one along with Cahill that we let slip away.

what our team needs at the moment is players who want to play for our club!!! can anyone disagree that Hitz has always said he is a true villain!!!

Sign him up on a free for 2 or 3 years, he wont have huge wages and could become a great squad or even 1st team player.

what u think???

Hopefully we can do better than Hitz, if we're going to raid Wet Spam let's get Parker.

I've gone for the not fussed option. As Dave said let's get Parker and if he's not willing then go for Hitz. He can do a job for us cover a lot of positions and score some goals from midfield. He's AMs sort of player

sorry Dave! i would also love Parker but to say we can do better then Hitz!!! der hammer is villa through and through!! Parker may have some skills but will he put his heart and soul on the line for the love of the shirt on his back. we need players that love our club!! players to get stuck in!!! and players that can connect to our fans!! Hitz is the man

It was painfully apparent that without Parker alongside him in the run-in Hitz was very ineffective for West Ham. He was totally bypassed and ineffectual. Which brought back memories. When Parker was there he had the time to play passes and get forward, and he is a better player than when he left us, but as Dave says I'd be disappointed if that was the calibre of player we were looking at.

*Prepares to be disappointed*

Fine by me.

A good option to have in the squad and wouldn't cost anything. Can't see any harm in it.

Well he's a better player than when he left us. not sure about a 1st team regular but as a free, can't see a problem

There's no transfer fee, he'd be a good addition to the squad so why not?

Only because he'd be on a free. Otherwise he's just an average Prem player.

Yes.

29 years old. A good option for 2/3 years.

No for me.  His influence on games is pretty poor because all he seems capable of doing is winding up 30 yard shots on goal which dont often come off.  I think we should be looking elsewhere.
