5% Villa - Take That Capacity
« on: June 23, 2011, 10:10:20 AM »
Firstly I have no interest in Take That.

I've been asked by a girl at work who is going if I knew what the capacity of Villa Park is for these gigs. I guessed at 20,000. Anyone know the actual figure? She's stressing about the "big crowd" would you believe.

I would imagine the stage will be set up in front of the north stand, so you will lose about a third of trinity and a third of the Doug ellis and then gain all of the pitch so about 35-40 i reckon

It's a very long gig, they play about a million love songs.

You'd have thought they'd Said it All by then, though that's Kidz for you.

Hopefully this will relight the fire of the Villa protesters who will attack the band.

I'd heard 65,000 by the way.

I wonder if it will be like the Springsteen gigs where you could still hear it five miles away? two days of the bass parts from Take That songs shaking the house. Great.......

I pray that they don’t ruin the pitch as it might affect Eck’s free flowing football although I suppose it would only take a minute for him to revert back to type.
