Hookey, check out the AM thread around pages 37-39. It went well, he came over as being determined to prove he is the right man for the job, and that a goalie is top priority. Nothing earth shattering.

He clearly loved the skoda comment re Blues. Very funny.

Clearly the wage budget is the big thing still too.

Listened on radioWM and watched  since ...............obviously primed to mention our
94/96 League Cup wins and the owner's connection with The Browns

Made me chuckle when asked if he 'pinched himself' after getting the job
he made reference to people wanting to 'puch him'

Just watched the interview. I thought he came across quite well. He will never be favoured by some but, if nothing else, seemed like a decent bloke to have a pint with.

Good interview. He sounds confident. He sure must be to make the move he did. I'm behind him and looking forward to what he can achieve here.

He came across very well I thought. There is a look of determination in his eyes and I hope he does well as we will all then benefit.

Well he did absolutely nothing wrong there - rightly or wrongly appointed it's time to get 100% behind now. Exceeded how well I thought he would come across, especially hung out on his own....

I can't get it to work, what does he say about wage bill? If its a problem why did we pay him 150% more than what he was on at blues?

We haven't really, that's just a bit of press mischief to make it appearvworse than it really is. His contract their had a 50% cut for relegation so it's a 150% increase on that lower figure which works out at 25% more on what he was on last season. I reckon the Villa job is worth at least that more than the Small Heath one.

I still bet he's on a good wage. Do you know what was said about wage bill?

He clearly loved the skoda comment re Blues. Very funny.

I noticed a quote that he made when Small Heath managed to win the League Cup. It said something along the lines of 'for a small club like us to beat a big club like Arsenal'.
