Famous Villa fans reaction to McLeish?
« on: June 19, 2011, 08:52:08 AM »
It's a bit strange that we haven't heard a peep from some of our "celebrity" fans about Big Eck coming to The Villa.
I mean David Cameron has been all over the media this week still telling us that "We're all in this together" but not a word about the most important thing to have happened ever in the history of the world. Come on Dave tell us what you think.
Then there's Mervyn King the Governor of the Bank of England he gave a speech the other night at The Mansion House and all he did was waffle on about inflation not a peep out of him about his beloved Villa.
Apparently Tom Hanks wanted Brian Clough to have the job, so come on Tom what do you say now?
I can forgive His Royal Highness for not saying anything. He's busy playing doctors and nurses with his new wife.
I can imagine Nigel Kennedy's reaction was to get out his beloved Strad play The Death March on it and than set fire to it Jimi Hendrix style.
If we can't hear their thoughts maybe we'll have to use our own imaginations.............
Just remember the libel law does apply on line.
*Edit* Changed the name of governor of the Bank Of England :-[

Nigel Kennedy was on Talksport the other morning and he seemed very happy with the appointment from the bits I heard.

Isn't it Mervyn King who is the Villa fan, Eddie George will do well to comment unless you know a medium.

Keep it under your hat but the other night I saw Floella Benjamin in the Dog and Doublet near the training ground with 5 litres of Dulux Blueberry White and a 4" paint brush.

Tom Hanks was beside himself with joy at the appointment. He was quoted as saying "I love him! He sounds like a big tough guy from Braveheart and has a cute little face like a potato"

Ian Lavender aka Pvt Pike is reported as calling Paul Faulkner "That stupid boy".

And Mrs Doyle has already started a poster campaign to have Mcleish sacked !

We did try and get an opinion from Mark Williams, but he said No Comment.....or rather "You aint seen me right ?"
