Away first and last, away on boxing day and then to top it all off away at Chelsea on new years eve really takes the piss!

He really couldn't have asked for a better start, although we better have the points in the bag early doors because that run does not looks tasty at all.

Couldnt have asked for a more handy start...cranks up the pressure on Eck to hit the ground running though.

Arsenal and Chelsea in March is grand, sure we never beat anyone in March anyway!!

Couldn't have had a better start to a season apart from December I like our fixtures roll on Fulham away.

Bollocks.  I really wanted to come over for Fulham away this year but can't do August.

Gvien we have a relegation specialist in charge I really don't like the look of our last 9 or 10 games from Easter onwards.  December looks like a Christmas ruiner as well.

The first two months or so don't look too bad though, so F-Eck needs to get off to a good start.

Im glad Fulham away is seen as easy when we couldnt beat them last season and Wolves at home is no given based on the past 2 seasons

I think it's only easy based some of the other teams in the league. You're basically trying to avoid any of last season's top 6/7 in the first few games. Anyone else is fair game.

Not sure I agree. Can be the best time to play them. What you are trying to avoid is the promoted clubs who almost always get off to a flier the first few weeks...

Couldn't have asked for a better start, should know by mid Sept where the Mccleish era is going.

A slow start with those fixtures and its gonna be a grim autumn.

Its pretty much been said already...a season of highs and lows judging from the fixture list. On paper the first 6 games are winnable but the opposite could be said of December, and a tough end of season so hope we start 2012 with a flourish.

McLeish must be the luckiest c**t alive - relegated but then lands a far better job on double the salary, and then gets Fulham away, Blackburn and Wolves at home as his first 3 games. Jammy fukker!

Let's hope his luck doesn't stop.

Just find yourself a young, gay barely out of the closet Punjabi lad to drive you there and back for the second half.
