Premiership Experianced?
« on: June 14, 2011, 11:28:07 AM »
Would it be better if the board was to widen the search to "outside" the Premiership? And it would it give us more options?

For me personally a manager with premiership experience is a negative.

barring probably 4 teams the standard is shit, half of the struggle to pass more than 20 yards without the ball going out of play.

A few managers that have no Premierleague experiance that are available;

Frank Rijkaard
Bernd Schuster
Louis Van Gaal
Quique Sánchez Flores

could they all do a job in the Premierleague? Or too much of a gamble?

I'd love Van Gaal or Flores. Rijkaard would be a disaster, IMO.

I would have any of those as opposed to

Coyle
Sweaty Ginger
Grayson
Hughes

Is there any need for a new thread?

The mods must have RSI of the fingers by now, locking all these threads.

What's wrong with having new threads though? This forum is meant to be about discussion.

We only have a few regular threads that are getting updated by the minute, why do mods feel the need we can't have new threads to talk about new topics of opinion?

OP opened this thread up to get some discussion - what's wrong with that? He obviously opened up a thread do he would get more opinions.

If he posted this in the managers discussion thread, he might only get 1 or 2 replies.

Because it doesn't need a new thread.
