Was Mr Lerner in Corsica Over The Weekend?
« on: June 13, 2011, 03:59:09 PM »
Did I dream that I saw a story claiming that Randy Lerner was in Corsica on Thursday or Friday?  Isn't that where McLeish is currently holidaying.

Surely this subject has been covered several times on the manager thread?

According to Sandy McGaskill in his webchat on the Telegraph website this lunchtime it sounds like Lerner's plane was there. And he should know, he's a weatherman!

Sandy Macaskill:
well, here i go with another conspiracy theory. i dont want to get in trouble here, but make your own minds up: alex mcleish is in corsica on holiday and has been since last week. people who track randy lerner's private jet via its tail number say it took a trip to a certain french island late last week. i ought to add in here that villa appear to have played everything else by the book so far so would be a weird one if they have tapped him up, but football's football...
