How do you feel about Alex McLeish being the next manager?

I would feel sick. It is such a backward step. That said, we have a vacancy and we have been linked with a different name each day. Hughes had shorter odds than Mccleish has right now.

Mccleish has lost members of his back room staff, rumours suggest he may not have wanted the signing of King, the board at the Sty are a bit dodgy, they have slagged off Mccliesh in pubic- he has a whole load of reasons to leave- it would be a dream for him to join us (our nightmare) but that does not mean one thing has anything to do with the other.

It's still a resounding "no" from me, but I can at least see why people would want him.

McLeish for Villa manager was 1/5 on at William Hill online but has now lengthened to variously 1/2 on and 4/9 on. I'll be renewing the ST tomorrow regardless, as planned.
