I think this is what happens when club directors listen too much to the fans.  If they had a football man on the board, perhaps as a DOF, then this situation might not have arisen.

If it is true, as reported, that RL didn't pursue Dutch Schteve as a result of forum comments then that is a shocking state of affairs. RL should be appointing who RL feels is right for the job, having spoken to qualified consultants if necessary - not supporters.

I don't think it will happen but for what it's worth I think McLeish has a good managerial record overall and I'd back him.

I've voted no though on the basis that if the hysteria displayed on here is anything to go by the guy wouldn't be given a chance.
