If we had brought him on at Arsenal I'm 100% certain we wouldn't have won.  That's why.  He's useless.

Yup. Defending a narrow lead in the last few minutes away at Arsenal isn't really the right opportunity to bring Pires on for a farewell wave to the crowd.

His comments in the press up to now have been quite complimentary of the club. If he really wants to play every week it was never going to be here. He should go somewhere sunny and wind-down.

An old people's home perhaps.. Bottom line is he's 37 and he should have retired long before he turned up at our place. He's totally gone and if he can't see that he's got a serious case of self-denial

For Pires see Ireland. Entirely predictable and utterly depressing.

Pires leaving?

In that case, the club can stick the season ticket up their arse.

You'll have to try harder Fletch, Nobody, but nobody is going to fall for that one.

So all the other times he was either on the bench or not even in the squad, he was OK with that.

But not being allowed to trot out for a few minutes at the Emirates and get a round of applause from the gooners was a lack of respect. Self centred, much?

If I had to give a textbook example of a lack of respect, it might include a footballer making those kind of comments about a club that has paid him handsomely for the past few months. Despite getting very little in return.

And provided him with a chauffeur to drive him to training!!

Lack of respect? You have to earn respect.

To be honest having waited with my 8 year old after the Wolves game for autographs there is only Pires and Albrighton I have any respect for.

Won't be missed ..........arguably cost us the game at Hawthorns

In funny sort of way liked seeing him shuffle around the pitch and thinking
"I can move faster than that"

Don't know whether he had positive influence on younger players at Bodymoor
was he there long enough in the day having commuted from London ?

How's this then Robert? I have the utmost respect for the career you have had in football and think bringing you in as a free agent when we had an injury crisis was a decent idea. Since then I think you have been a waste of space and have yelled abuse at the very mention of your name both at games and watching on TV. There a bit of balance and respect, now f**k off!

Hope McCallister realises why he got so much stick when he brought him on now.
