0% Villa - QPR ticket prices
« on: May 25, 2011, 03:06:23 PM »
Well, the season ticket price increases caused a bit of a stir on here - I dread to think what would have happened if they resembled QPRs. They've bumped their prices right up - season tickets are £549 for the cheapest up to £999, matchday tickets £47 - £72. That really is taking the mickey.

Mad when you compare them to Fulham, which is ten minutes down the road.  I know where I'd rather watch my football.

Absolutely pathetic
I dread to think of the away ticket prices this season. My mate who's a Coventry fan said it was 32 quid last year and that was expensive for the league. Lets hope they decide to keep it at 32 for this season...

How much is that up from last season?

Everytime I see something like this is reminds me that we're lucky to be amongst the cheaper sides to watch in the PL.

alexpayne - £32, no chance, not when the cheapest ticket for home fans is £47.

John M, the reports in the papers (Telegraph, Guardian) vary, increases of 40% and 68% are quoted. Probably one of those figures relates to season tickets and the other to matchday, but I can't make out which is which. Whatever, their fans are getting absolutely fleeced. Compare to Burnley, anyone who was a season ticket holder in their promotion season got their Premiership season ticket free.

That's 'That London' for you - throw in a programme, a drink and a burger (or is it a slice of pizza at QPR nowadays) and that'll be a raand hundred quid to you guvnor.

Welcome to the Premier League.

The sad thing is I bet they'll still sell out every game, especially as the capacity is only 18,000.

And that unfortunately is it.  Supply and Demand...

Yeah. I want to go to Loftus Rd as well this season. For around £50 a ticket though I'll only go the once. My ticket for Arsenal was 'only' £34.
