Best away support?
« on: May 16, 2011, 04:48:15 PM »
As shown yesterday at the Emirates and on many occassions before we have a great away support numbers and singing wise.

Who do you think other than ourselves have a good away support?

Myself, without wanting to upset some, would say Spurs. Over the years even when they are doing crap they always bring numbers and make a noise.

Gateshead - small in number but feckin' yampy.
Barrow - there's something about these northern clubs!
Grimsby - don't want to support a non-league club ut seen determined to enjoy it all the same.

They were loud but it all felt a bit staged IMO.

Newcastle.

Heard some stories about them on my work experience at Villa.

Arsenal - always very polite and stick to the old adage of being seen and not heard.

Manure are great away fans. Wankers and they never have very far to travel but very loud.

Man Utd, Liverpool, Sunderland, Spurs and ourselves are consitantly among the five best in my opinion.

Considering Club size Everton are among the worst.

For numbers and atmosphere combined, Everton have always been lousy. Just doesn't tally with the numbers they bring.

For away support I'd put us second only to United.

Stoke seem to make an insane amount of noise. Noticed a few empty seats in the away end this season though.
