He was told to go home, I read. He didn't just walk out.

Heskey is built like a brick shithouse but has to moan because he wasn't getting enough protection. What next? shoulder pads and a helmet?

Yes he should.  Could easily have contributed to a worse result like he did against Sunderland with his hissy fit then.  He might be built like a brick shit house but plays and acts like a wet fart.

There is more to this than what is being reported - all i can see is fair play to Brad Freidel an absolute gentleman and superb example of a professional

Can you elaborate?
Friedel ran quite a long way from his area to the scene of the incident to restrain Heskey.

But the lack of intervention from the bench was worrying.
In today's Times McAllister says that he "caught Emile's eye and got the assurance that he would get himself to half time".  Strong, decisive leadership from the bench, then.

Mcallister should have hauled him off straight away but dithered as normal and a stronger ref would have sent him off- after the Sunderland fiasco  you would think heskey would have learnt a lesson.

Best thing we can do with him is follow the American's lead....shoot him and dump him in the sea! The shittest striker to play for 3 years at the Villa i have seen in 40 years!

It was a foul but wasn't anything too bad, from what I could see.

So, as well as throwing a tantrum on the pitch and then again at half time he still hadn't calmed down enough to support his team in the second half? Maybe we need a naughty step in the dressing room. If McAllister had gone to my infant school maybe he'd have thought of making him stand with his fingers on his lips or his hands on his head for five minutes.

Unprofessional and I reckon something personal was said to him. Should have gone off and we were lucky.

Escape from Alcaraz.

I always thought previous managers of Heskey (not just MON) used to hope he got wound up to make him play with a bit of aggression, Wigan did the job and then we take him off, and bring the unusually timid Albrighton on.

Another example of poor management for me not being able to get through to your players

If I went to the bookies and asked for odds on a particular player to be sent off in the first half, what odds do you reckon I'd get?

The fact he was allowed to leave at half time is a joke.  Fucking big baby.

He did get belted in the head, so im not surprised he reacted, shame it was at the ref.  The same ref that had let that happen once and appear to miss a stonewall penalty.  wtf was Mac doing though, not getting him off after that.  Worst striker for 40 years?  That is a laugh
