Twelve meaningless games in The Championship.
« on: May 07, 2011, 08:17:17 AM »
At 12.45 pm today the final 12 games of The Championship kick off simultaneously, and none of them matter.
Mathematically Leeds could overhaul Forest for 6th place but its really not going to happen.
The Champions, Runners Up, four teams for the play offs and three sides relegated are already all decided. In fact it can only change if the FA spring a real surprise afterwards with a big points deduction on QPR. (Again, it wont happen).

Two points to note with this.
There is just a possibility the same situation could occur in The Premier league in a couple of weeks, how upsetting would that be for SKY ?
Also how many players, managers, pundits will have told us over the last weeks/months "It will go right down to the wire" ?

Is it a surprise to anyone that the FA have delayed their findings on the QPR case?

I wonder what the odds are for a points deduction that leaves them 1 point above 3rd...

No points deduction for QPR.
