If you do go, can I recommend that if you go by train turn left outside the station and walk about 150 yards down Railway St. to the Brunswick Inn. An excellent little pub with it's own brewhouse. Two to try are White Feather and Triple Hop.

That's the only reason I might go.

There'll be one at VP the week before the season no doubt, but it's not looking likely that we're playing anywhere in ireland/europe etc but you never know.

We're definitely playing Walsall on 21st July as its on their website.

Couldn't find anything on the OS though but guess there will be some ticket news after the Take That concerts.

Why can't we play Walsall on a Saturday? Won't be able to make a night game because of work!

That said - if you do go - and indeed go to the pub - don't drink too much because, if there are a pair of boots that fit - you may find yourself playing - so far we have sold / released so many players - with more to follow it would seem (Carlos/Warnock/Downing - and please God Heskey, though this is just plain wishful thinking) AM is likely to struggle to find 11 to take the field.

By way of replacements, we are currently linked with ...erm nobody.... so don't get too tanked up!!

UTV!!

Do you reckon there could be one single thread, anywhere on the forum, that won't have a post by a member of the Latter Day Doomsayers?

I hope we can find one

I'd be the first to turn cart wheels down the Expressway if there was anything to turn a cart wheel for - but the club, and the board in particular, are collectively acting like Enkleman v blues just now

All we can do is have a bit of fun and wait for what the new season offers us - and we'll be there, as always, to enjoy / despair as appropriate.

After all there is bugger all we can do about what happens at Villa - as has been proven recently!!

No home friendly the week before kick off then! Guess that's because the concerts put pitch / stadium work back 4 or 5 weeks this summer??
