So the myth that playing the Baggies is bigger than the Blues and that WBA are more hated than the Blues has officially been cleared up.

Even my father who's in his 50's who grew up as WBA being the main rivalry hates Blues more.

Not in the slightest. I personally dislike SHA and the Dingles far more than the Throstles. The afore-mentioned have a different point of view.

Well the Rags have never been our 'rivals'. Neighbours, yes but having won sweet FA, there's no rivalry. Just because the Rags are obsessed with us and live to hate us, doesn't make them our rivals. We hate them because they're small time, embarrassing twats.

Albion have some history and can rightly claim to be local rivals. Big difference.

I understand what people are saying, and to an extent I'd agree.

With West Brom it's more of a 'local football rivalry', with small heath it's more of a 'local derby' - no football rivalry involved because they're just the pesants trying to get their foot in the palace doors. WBA are somewhat respectable, and so are Forest and Wolves. It's a shame really because if you notice all the other football rivalries in England it's always two good football clubs coming up against each other. Blues aren't known for being a good football club, they're just known for playing boring and negative football with a large majority of scummy fans.

I honestly wish we could just detatch away from small heath and start a real rivalry with Forest. Now that's a proper Midlands derby.

Whichever your stance on who are our real rivals, it is amusing that so many of our fans clearly don't give much of a toss about Albion while they get so worked up about us.

There's a definite touch of Coventry City about them. That must hurt.
