Your Feelings towards Baggies
« on: April 26, 2011, 09:48:39 PM »
Apolagies if this thread pops up alot, but just what are your feelings towards them? Do you hate them? Do you see it as a derby but not particuarly hate them, not care about them?
Personally, i really dont like em, i wouldn't say it was hate but there fans do my head in with one decent season and there giving it the billy big bollocks. Although it is fun to pretend not to care, they really hate that more than anything else

I never really give them a second thought.

It's probably because I'm from South Brum, so never really encountered Albion fans as a kid, as there weren't any. It was all about hating Blues for us.

Indifference. Our class at school had 11 boys; 5 Villa, 5 Small Heaf and 1 Villa 'fan' but West Brom supporter.

I've never known a genuine West Brom fan.

I hope they go out of business.  Then rise up the divisions... and then go out of business again.

Daft little club with the most annoying supporters imaginable.  They're the village idiots of the top flight.

Solihull massive was all about hating the Blues when I was growing up. Even then though they weren't in the same league as us for ages, so I never really experienced a derby game until the 2000's.

We had a family of Albion round the corner from us, a right load of oddballs they were. Other than that, a couple of blokes at work who tried to take the piss every now and then but they were always easy to see off, mainly by taking the piss out of their mad accent.

I like Albion. When Villa were not in the First division I regularly went to watch them on alternative Saturdays.

Indifferent, but find it rather amusing that our indifference pisses them off so much as many of their fans hate us more than Wolves but to us are insignificant. They're a step up from Coventry in insignificance......just .

I've never really minded them that much, probably as others have said, because I'm a south Birmingham lad and the couple of baggies fans I knew hated small heath too

Most of their fans are braindead peasants and West Bromwich as a town is like some giant open-air lavatory, but otherwise they're not a bad bunch.

Not particularly anti-Albion but acknowledge it's an historical rivalry and want to beat them. Never really had any trouble with their fans... unlike Small Heath. I even think Frank Skinner is quite funny sometimes. That's me barred from this site.

It depends where you were born and raised, I spent most of my life in East Birmingham and despite moving away still have an unquenchable hatred for Small Heath fuelled, in the main, by my experiences when coming into contact with their "fans".

I now live in a pretty strong Albion part of the BC but theres plenty of Villa and we seem to co-exist together in a way I could never imagine back in Brum.

If we loose to Small Heath I spiral into depression for a fortnight, loose to the Baggies and despite being mightly pissed off, it doesn't take me long to get it out of my system. Well, I think it doesn't, after all it's been a long time.
