Baggies 1 - 2 Villa
Villa 4 - 1 Latics
Gunners 2 - 2 Villa
Villa 2 - 3 Reds

7 points to earn that unfamiliar 9th spot.

WBA 1 - 2 Villa
Villa 3 - 0 Wigan
Arsenal 2 - 1 Villa
Villa 1 - 1 Liverpool

Got a feeling we will beat Albion, they think they are the dogs knackers at the moment and I can see us sorting that out. Wigan are shit, solid gold shit. Arsenal will play with freedom now the chance of winning something is gone - a good team with no bottle are always great when the pressure is taken off, and Liverpool I think will be a very tame affair unless they are on the necks of getting 5th, at which point they might give us a hiding, but have provisionally gone for a draw. Bent to score 3 more too, taking it to 10 for Villa.

WBA 2 Villa 2
Villa 2 Wigan 0
Arsenal 7 Villa 0
Villa 2 Liverpool 1

48pts hopefully just enough for the 10th place finish I predicted last summer before MON went.

Based on the season so far...

Lose 2-1 to Albion after being a goal up.  Dunne and McAllister have a touch-line spat.  Concede the winner in the 93rd minute.

Frustrating 1-1 draw against Wigan including Ashley Young's last-ever penalty for Villa, which he misses trying to emulate the Dwight Yorke dink.

A battling come-back to draw 2-2 at The Emirates.  Journalists and broadcast media to focus solely on how the wheels have well and truly come off Arsenal since  since handed the League Cup to Blues.  Elsewhere in London this weekend, Man City create an historic precedent by collecting the FA Cup dressed in sky blue keffiyeh.  "It's what I came here for," says unused substitute, James Milner.

Well deserved 2-0 win against a Liverpool sporting their new away strip - stripes based on deckchairs. A glorious sunny day with Villa playing the best football of the campaign, spoilt only by Houllier returning from his convalescence to lick King Kenny's shoes and personally negotiate Stuart Downing's transfer to his beloved Anfield.

No. We will finish 11th on goal difference due to your absolutely scandalous 7-0 prediction for the Arsenal game. Shame on you sir !

I actually think, after we beat the Dippers on the last day, a Lap of Honour would be worth it, Dunney maybe pushing GED round in a wheelchair (Lou & Andy like)
Staying up, against all the adversity of MON's sabotage, and the media hate we've had, it feels great to stay up and better than anything that short, Irish fellow achieved

We stayed up every season with "that short Irish fellow", its' just that he set our sights a lot higher.

Yep, he also did his best to bankrupt the club and clearly only thinks of Nr 1, a) by suing us ?? b) by clearing his desk 5 days before the start of the season
Premidated sabotage, by the short, bald irish man

No, I've allowed for Newcastle getting stuffed at Chelsea and Fulham also getting mullered by a relaxed/nothing to play for Arsenal.

Tesco Wankers 1-2 Villa - Keep the new (2-1 wins) and old (beating them) tradition going
Villa 2-0 Wigan - Couple of scary moments but we will finally beat them home in the prem and they will go down
Arsenal 2-2 Villa - Two shit defences, not much to play for and a good battle from Villa
Villa 2-2 Liverpool - An abject 1st half  but we look a good team in the 2nd and are unlucky not to get the winner

I used the BBC predictor and if every result goes against us we go down by three points.  A win against Wigan will keep us up - at their expense.

I do mean EVERY game going against us.  This table has Wolves 14th! And Blackpool winning at Spurs and ManUre
