Poor NRC.

Two scumbags with the same name that have given him grief. The name must keep him awake at night.

That Jon Jo jockey will be after him next.

I don't remember too many West Ham players being up in arms about it at the time. I've not seen it back since, but it looked like a fair enough challenge.

well halsey didn't take action so i can't see it progressing unless he admits a mistake. Just unfortunate really and in those situations you look for someone to blame i guess

I don't recall it being shown in the highlights or anyone mentioning it? Surely if the tackle was that bad they would have done?

Surely NRC will be insured against any risk in this respect

aye. think they'll struggle to get anything from this. From memory they have to prove it was with intent or extremely reckless to have a chance of winning and frankly if they take NRC to court for this, then 99% of the tackles in the premiership could be suspect if a player gets a career threatening injury

It wasn't that bad, it was strong but that's it.

That is a truly awful article. I can't see even the most vague or ambiguous premise upon which they base the story.

If this was a none contact sport I could see grounds for suing. As it was deemed a fair challenge I can't see it happening.

No one wants to see a players career end early through injury. This seems like someone who wants to blame someone else.

Surely players are protected against such things otherwise nobody would tackle anymore.

It is more that our favourite owners are trying to play their usual games of blame and distraction from their own failings.
