What about between Moor St and Stourbridge? Being a selfish sod and all that.

When I lived in Aston the trains at Aston Station were off virtually every Sunday.

London Midland.

I heard it on Twitter, so I tweeted them. They sent me a direct message confirming.

Looks like it's the buzz back to New Street for me.

EDIT: Thanks for the warning BTW.

They are saying it's due to safety reasons.

Ask them if you want.

Its been going on for a while, The other day I got the train and the driver would only go as far as Dudley Port as that was his finish time, basically they are refusing to do any overtime.

Don't blame the drivers, the train companies could use some of their guaranteed profits to hire the necessary levels of staff.

But they're not lazy. If you look at the website, London Midland are always over-subscribed for overtime amongst drivers. Looking at the announcement on the website, it seems they are in disagreement over the amount they get paid for overtime, as they are not obliged to work on Sundays.

IMHO both sides are to blame. Neither is willing to be pragmatic or flexible.

Take the #7 bus - timetable:
