Me and my 4 pals were on the very end seats next to the Everton fans and we all got manhandled out and given a few slaps by the stewards and police outside. They reckon they had us on camera giving "slit your throat sign" which was bollocks. This was just after the Everton fans were going mad about something. One of me mates has got to come back to court in the week.

What did he get charged with mate? Assuming he got interviewed about it has he admitted the offence?

I'd also say that, of the clubs which can usually be relied on to sell their allocation at Villa Park, Everton are the ones who are consistently the least vocal and excitable. They usually sit down, too.

I've never had a problem with Everton as a club, they're very similar to us in some ways, but their fans are a strange mix of preachy, holier than thou types, and absolute fucking scutters who make Liverpool's selection of jester hat toting Scandinavians appealing by comparison.

That "Peoples' Club" thing is cringemaking, too.

I received a message off him earlier saying he has got a section 5 disorder charge and in court on April 20th. Banned from all grounds until then aswell. Iv asked him more questions about it but yet to receive a response.

Contact the football supporters federation for advice. They are quite helpful by all accounts

B36, section 5 public order act .......
The offence is created by section 5 of the Public Order Act 1986:

A person is guilty of an offence if he/she:
(a) uses threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, or disorderly behaviour, or
(b) displays any writing, sign or other visible representation which is threatening, abusive or insulting,
within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress thereby."
This offence has the following statutory defences:

(a) The defendant had no reason to believe that there was any person within hearing or sight who was likely to be alarmed or distressed by his action. (doubt this one would fit the circumstances)
(b) The defendant was in a dwelling and had no reason to believe that his behaviour would be seen or heard by any person outside any dwelling. (N/A)
(c) The conduct was reasonable. (If it was just shouting/swearing at the game along with many others then he may have an arguement however if there were slit the throat gestures or similar then he's buggered)

This may help a bit. Only the people that were stood around your mate will know if he did any of the above.
Feel free to pm if you want any advice.

An Everton fan's a twat. Plenty of Villa fans say the same about Everton/Liverpool/West Ham/whoever we're playing. Twattism isn't confined to Merseyside.

Yes it is. Well, Manchester, Coventry, Leicester, London, Stoke, Newcastle, Sunderland and Nottingham are all infested with twats. And Leeds and Bradford and Derby.

Grimsby are generally a sound and knowledgable bunch though, they remind me of the Villa.

So when do Rooney and Stephen Carr get their bans then?
