Is Phil Oakey available?

He's erm.... working as a waitress in erm.... a cocktail bar

True, but he has been spotted outside Villa Park singing 'Don't you want me baby'

Lambert at Norwich

Good call

Have good friends who support Colchester and some who work there - they were glad to get rid of him and classed him as an O'Neil clone.

I know a few Colchester fans too and it strikes me they were just very bitter when he upped and went to their local rivals right after Colchester had tonked Norwich away on the first day of the season. They rated him very highly indeed until he did the dirty on them..

You would have to say too that his decision has been totally vindicated to date

Gus Poyet has worked wonders at Brighton and got them playing some lovely stuff, having said that I'm not sure he's ready to step up two leagues yet, although we could very well both be in the same league next season, oh Im confusing myself, apoint him, apoint him now!

I can just imagine us appointing Jol and all it goes a bit wrong. As fans call him a cock he says, "why do they mishtake me for my brother?"

Jol has one brother, Cock (short for Cornelis). Cock works in scouting and worked alongside Martin while he was manager of HSV and Ajax

Why are people talking about Moyes? Never in a million years would he come to us.

He's the one half-decent-and-above manager who would.

But I think we can only be together in electric dreams.

If we'd done this a few years ago Paul Jewell would be getting the Owen Coyle vote.

He has run down the clock at Everton. Can genuinely say he has taken them as far as he can, and is ready to move on.

Which is why I didn't vote for him. He has a touch of Mark McGhee about him.

Who did Jewell take to 6th/7th in the league?
