The Homecoming....
«
on:
March 17, 2011, 12:33:45 PM »
As you are may or may not be aware I'm taking part in a huge charity challenge this summer and I am hopeful of securing a night with the lord himself Paul McGrath hosted by Paul Franks
The venue will be the Aston Social, the date is 18th May and the price £20 to include food.
Before I confirm anything, I was wondering what the demand for tickets will be.
Would any of you come?

On a slightly separate theme, is it wise to have an eveing with arguably greatest player, a trying to reform alcholic, at a Social club?

Questions why the big man is being invited then, as its the worst place to put an alcoholic?

He was alright when he appeared in Sherlock Street (which we found, at night, in the rain) with BFR at the 2nd City Suite.

Because this is what he does now, personal appearances etc including nights for Q&A. He knows and understands about the venues.

I know his already doing one in Sutton on 20th May. Don't know if that would effect attendance or his willingness to do it

I'd love to but it's during exam period so I doubt I'd be able to make it.

(this will give you an idea of what he does and what he has to put up with. I was cringing at the rendition of "In the Pub...")
