I spoke to a Coventry fan at work about this today. He said they were only two years into a five year plan. I had to chuckle.

I've not been to the Ricoh yet (although i'll be there for Kings of Leon in May) but Highfield Road was a bloody horrible place. They hated us with a passion. It was always a good atmosphere though, although the games are a bit of a blur.

Is the Rocket Pub by the train station still there?

Yes clampy , it is, as far as I'm aware.I fondly remember our wins there , when we scored it seemed almost half their stands were packed with our fans and even when relegated we did the double over them.

Was it Joachim or dwight who scored that incredible goal from the byline-where it seemed to roll along the byline and swerve round the post and in?

They don't own their ground and Only rent the ricoh ,as such have no real assets - the word I hear is they are very close to administration- sooner the better.

The radio reporter from the BBC made a point of mentioning how thin the crowd was at their last game.

To think that some people were actually keen on that happening.

You won't get them to admit it though.

Yep, Joachim, 2-1 win in the 96/97 season.

The winner was scored by Staunton from near the bullring, it was that far out.
