fake

Reminds me of being in kardamena in Kos a few years ago and the owner had all football shirts on the wall and he proudly showed me the shirt "worn by Tony Morley when Villa won the championship"

It looked fine apart from it was the le coq kit that we didn't win the title in and the sleeves were turquoise.

The best fake I ever saw was in Thailand in 2009.

Blue shirt, Claret Sleeves with the old badge on it and ACRONS across the middle.

Bloke selling it was adamant that it was the real thing!

My mate bought one back from the Far East and I must admit it was bang on until you looked at the badge and saw "Ashton Villa"

After the GAIS game in Sweden, someone tried to flog us a shirt with 'DWS Invespments' on. There were a couple of other things clearly wrong with it, but that stood out.

Some may find it sad, but it's quite entertaining reeling the sellers in and letting them down, like those in overseas markets trying to sell you a 'Manchester Football' Shirt as real.

Wasn't there a team in Ireland called Ashton Villa, or was it Ashtown Villa?

Ashtown.
They merged with Kinvara Ards to form Phoenix FC a couple of years back.
