0% Villa - Cantona and that kick.

According to a couple of BBC guys on Twitter he has been interviewed for Football Focus and has said this about that kung fu kick -

“I think maybe it’s like a dream for some people - to kick these kinds of people. So I did it for them. So then they are happy"

A truely great player, no disputing that.

However, after jumping into the crowd and assaulting a spectator, whilst surrounded by women and Children, he should have received a life ban.

And if he'd have played for Torquay United and not Manchester United i'm convinced he would have.

Cantona turning out on regular basis at Plainmoor ?  Surreal.

Plenty of seagulls mind.

Why isn't he ever referred to as "former Leeds United player"?

Amazing how being at Man Utd infects all of that lot with a degree of self-righteous arrogance rarely displayed elsewhere.

All of the crap and mess that Villa are in right now shares its origin with the above.

Just seen a clip of the interview on BBC Breakfast, he comes across as intelligent. The interviewer said that normally these interviews are edited down to 3 minute clips, but this one will show the full 10 minutes.

Mark Bosnich always has the caption ''Former Manchester United and Chelsea Goalkeeper'' whilst doing his weekly punditry effort here.

Drives me mental that but then again we're not Sky 4...............................................

Sadly mate - even though we feature in most games week in week out on Fox Sports, most people in Aus probably have never heard of Villa. The tell when you're asked what team you support and reply Villa, is, Oh yeah, what city are they in then?

off topic, but are you going to see the Roar on the weekend? wondering if they'll get close to a full house.

That made me laugh, as for Cantona he was a great player but I was amazed he got that longer ban considering he was a manure player.

Bosnich's KO of Klinsmann was the same nightr as Cantona's kung-fu kick. I also recall Tommy Johnson barfing everywhere on the touchline before kick off.
