Strange. I thought MON and Randy were back on good terms now? If so just agree to disagree. It's not as if MON is short of a couple of quid.

Since when did not being short of a couple of quid stop anyone in football trying to get their grubby paws on even more?
Sol Campbell, Cashley Cole, etc etc

in Martin O'Neill dispute with us. Over departure in August, means case will be settled by a tribunal.

I thought he was on a rolling one year deal? He walked didn't he?

hhhhmmm
Think you're right he was on a rolling one year contract so the assumption is he was under contract for another year or so.  Tribunal involvement seems to suggest his 'walking' may have been with some assistance?  Maybe the discussion was along the lines of....

MON: 'If you don't give me the Milner money I'll walk'
RL: 'Well, I'm not giving you the Milner money until you offload some of the deadwood you've bought'
MON: ' So you're not giving me the money, and I'll take you for constructive dismissal'

I suppose given MON's propensity for things legal we shouldn't be surprised, but whether we actually get to hear the real story is another matter

Or he told Lerner that he didn't want Ireland because he's shit and a lazy fucker.

I get he's attempting to argue constructive dismissal on the grounds the club made his position untenable.  This was what Curbishley successfully argued against West Ham when they sold Anton Ferdinand against his wishes (I'd argue the Board were right with hindsight!).  He might be arguing a similar case with Milner.

It would be good to have a better understanding of what happened.

He's also suing The Daily Mirror for libel over their claim that he held secret negotiations to become manager of Liverpool Football Club, which is something that many people on here believe to be true.

He fucking walked out.

I sincerley hope we tell him to fuck off.

Bottling Four eyed fuck.

Amazing how those who have this obsession with MON can convince themselves that they know what happened to cause MON to leave the club. Noone here knows a thing and throwing insult after insult will not change it although these hissy fits may make you feel that you do.

What we know is what is recorded in the club's returns at Companies House. He resigned. The resignation was accepted.

Nothing about mutual consent. Nothing about sacking. No suggestion that we cried and hung on to his trouser leg as he strode out of Villa Park.

I think he will get a pay-off of some kind, and I hope he invests it wisely.

But didn't Milner want to leave, not the Villa wanted to sell him?
