The plot thickens....

Maybe we will get to know the real reasons behind mon leaving the club, always thought it was strange mon never spoke about it but now we know why if it's going to go to tribunal.

Think you're right he was on a rolling one year contract so the assumption is he was under contract for another year or so.  Tribunal involvement seems to suggest his 'walking' may have been with some assistance?  Maybe the discussion was along the lines of....

MON: 'If you don't give me the Milner money I'll walk'
RL: 'Well, I'm not giving you the Milner money until you offload some of the deadwood you've bought'
MON: ' So you're not giving me the money, and I'll take you for constructive dismissal'

I suppose given MON's propensity for things legal we shouldn't be surprised, but whether we actually get to hear the real story is another matter

As i've said numerous times, banking and football are the two industries that reward failure.

Spot on, the person they have just had on said he things it will be settled in favour of MON.

It's a fucking joke, he had the run of the mill and has left us with a shite squad and in a financial mess regarding player wages.

We should be taking him to a tribunal for incompetence the prick.

Football really is a different world when a man can willingly leave a job (leaving the club in the shit) then take them to court for money.

Maybe the departure was by the old 'mutual consent'?  Didn't both Martin and the board/Randy state they no longer agreed in how to take the club forward?
