What's happened to Warnock?

I might be being naive here, but what has happened to Stephen Warnock? He was solid first team last season, and certainly for the first few months of this season. Then he had a few bad games, and he's not even on the bench. We've played Clark, Baker and even Delph at left back! Surely Warnock didn't suddenly get so bad that he doesn't even get a place on the bench!? He went to the World Cup for crying out loud!

Someone must know what has happened to him other than just "losing form" a little?

Played poorly and, reading between the lines from our intrepid leader, wasn't prepared to pull his finger out and work harder. So he followed the likes of Beye to train with the reserves and is still not showing the right attitude apparently

Agreed. When he first joined I really thought we'd signed a top class footballer, he was superb, a joy to watch. My guess is that Warnock blames everybody else for his poor form and he obviously wasn't happy with the appointment of GH.

I've read elsewhere that he is quoted as saying "you can f*ck your club and f*ck your supporters" to the management and team.

I have a feeling that is what Houllier might say to the General or Randy when queried on last night's team selection...

I actually don't think Firedel should get a new deal, look for a younger keeper.
