He or rather his girlfriend was just on some shit on BBC Three that I caught the last five minutes of.

When they said she and Stephen no longer had to keep a property in Birmingham since he left Villa it took me a while to place who he was.

Don't write off his contract, then he would just have our money and a new contract somewhere else. Make him earn a move or hang him out to dry.

What an odious little shit-eater he is.
As Caiphus says, put the guy out to dry.

The next time we're in danger of losing one of our best players, if anyone, anywhere suggests we do a PX with the other club, the name STEPHEN IRELAND should be shouted loud and clear.

This whole sorry situation should be a salutary lesson to everyone concerned.

Despite the fact that hurling cash at the pillock makes me sick to the pit of my stomach, I'd rather we paid up his contract and sent him on his way.  Let him spend the summer finding a contract at another club, rather than poisoning the atmosphere around Bodymoor Heath.

i would rather make him train with turtles and left to rot...

if we are going to pay him off, then lets not allow him to then go and revitalise his career elsewhere...

Give him away to Small Heath.....

That will serve him right.

I would send him to a hard non league club with poor facilities and make him work there for 6 months. Maybe he will realize how lucky he is and do something about it. I know send him to someone like Moor Green or Tamworth or whatever.

Why should they have to suffer him!

Personally I would try and work out a compromise with him about his contract and just get rid of him, if he didn't agree then he could train with the youths (or lower)!

Moor Green would be fine, they don't exist any more.

How long do we have to keep him before he can buy out his own contract?
