VMF Restaurant
« on: February 28, 2011, 07:24:59 AM »
Went there Friday.

It's brilliant, food was to a very, very high standard and it was just £19.95 per head for 3 courses.

Strongly recommend it.

The kids who work there are great too.

There was an item about it on MOTD on Saturday night (though it might have been Sunday morning when I watched it).

Yeah saw that.  Found it a bit funny when the narrator said the kitchen wasn't Dunne's natural habitat.

Echoing previous comments, it's absolutely top notch and really deserves to be a success, they're doing great things there. Anyone who can go, should. You won't be disappointed  :)

whenever i've mentioned getting locals involved at Villa Park I've always said that a new approach needs to be made. this is just that type of thing. Well done everyone involved. If I ever get the chance I'd love to go.

I've been a few times now (and we are going again next week) and everytime it's been spectacular.  If you've never seen the hospitality areas of Villa Park, it's worth going just for a nosey around.

Just had a look at the sample menus, it all sounds wonderful and I'll certainly give it ago next time I'm over.

My wife and I tried the Burns Night. Really superb and memorable experience. Especially because the staff  try so hard and absolutely get it right.

No. It is the match day Directors' area. I asked for a doggy bag and, sparing you the detail, I think I may now therefore possess Mr Lerner's branded ceramic fruit salad plate!
