Stoke game - first time for wife and kids
« on: February 22, 2011, 08:53:27 PM »
Saturday 23rd April 3pm. Mrs BE and the two teenage girls  have decided to come to the game with me. However, I can't make up my mind where to sit.

The North Stand is out as there's more legroom on a Thomas Cook charter flight.

I would have gone in the Trinity, but it's single seats only, and we can't do the Witton Lane, as we won't have our flasks with us.

So, shall I go Holte Lower or Holte Upper? I Can't make my mind up. Can you help please?

Holte End Lower - Left Side, is where true Villa fans sit

Holte Right Lower, beneath the scoreboard, known affectionately as "freaks corner"

North Upper isn't as bad for legroom.

I'd doubt two teenage girls would appreciate the Holte Upper, due to the impending feeling of Vertigo coupled with nothing but singing. (Bliss for me, mind)

Personally, I think they'd rather the lower, as at least they can get a decent view of the game, with a reasonable bit of singing and the like.

Lower Holte on the left side!

As you face the Holte or as you're in it?

Hang on, there are seats together in Trinity A wings i.e. A1 row A seats 35 to 40-ish. Can anybody tell me if that is the front row or up the back?

I love the Holte upper - no season ticket, but it's where I always go because I can do a lot of swearing. But the last few times I've gone there have been about twenty kids in the adjoining rows so I'd recommend Holte Lower ;)

As you face it; We don't want further divisions as to left side facing or in the stand!

When you are in the Holte, on the left side... before the old Holte End went it was just next to the column!

There isn't, and as far as I can recall, ever been a scoreboard in the Lower Right of the Holte?

Single seats only in the Trinity for a match two months away?

Really?
