Ticket details for FA Cup 5th rd
« on: February 20, 2011, 07:27:14 PM »
Are now on the OS. 4000 allocated, £22.50 adult, £18.50 u21, £5 u16.... Surprised we havent got a few more than that. Plenty of empty seats there today and the tickets were cheaper.... No general sale date either for people who havent been away from home, arent a season ticket holder, or havent been to a cup match.

Decent that. I'm not gonna go but I would if circumstances were different.

It's doable, they were very lethargic at times today; lets take a fair few up there and do 'em on the counter.

I think that refelcts the minimum they can offer us on a sale or return.

They only got 27,000 today.

Anyone who wants to go over and beyond the 4000 allocation will have no trouble getting in.

If we can just get a draw at eastlands the replay would have to be on qtr final Sunday or Monday. If City win in Europe this week they'll face a long trip to Kiev the Thursday night before qtr final weekend. Chasing trophies on all fronts will stretch even their big squad.

Aren't we playing them on Wed 2nd March?

Think it will be live on ITV.

Yes, but if we draw at City the replay will be on qtr final Sunday or Monday. We're still in 5th rnd at moment. And yes it is live ITV.

It's an initial 4000, if we sell them we'll get an extra 2000. Leicester and Notts County both had 6000.

I reckon we'll sell 4000 but not the 6000. The ticket prices will help, £22 is reasonable. Maybe the club could have done another free coach travel to get 6000 up there cheering us on (not being greedy, just a suggestion) or just took the 6000 tickets and stuck them straight on sale to season ticket holders and then general sale.

I see that FA are now insisting any replay with City will be at VP on Monday 7th March. Both teams have league games two days earlier, and City will then probably have to travel to Kiev to play on the Thursday.
They don't seem to have taken into account that some of us might have other things planned for that Monday.
