When we played Chelsea at the bridge last season i got a ticket for our end off a tout cost me £110 it was my fault for paying it but i left it to last minute to decide if i wanted to watch the match and we know the score don't we bad day all round that was but if it was Villa in the Final i would pay it no doubt about it.

If there's one thing that makes me metaphorically bite off my nose to spite my face when buying tickets for anything, it's admin fees.

Thats a disgrace

The Peoples game, MY ARSE

At least at Villa, the ticket pricing is still fair and with all the offers I can still afford to go to games at B6 albeit not in great seats. The latest hat-trick offer is great - next 3 Prem games for £60 and a £2 booking fee (where do UEFA get £26 booking fee from ???)

What a disgrace.

I wonder what Wembley's cut is

That was the first thing i thought when i heard this. The F.A are still paying for the bloody thing so i'm sure they've had a say in how much the seats are.

To be honest I'd prefer it if they said the ticket was £176 rather than £150 plus an admin fee. Is this a tax scheme?

Just in case you wondered where that £26 booking fee is going..

Uefa, which last year set up a new central marketing and commercial unit to bring its operations inhouse

My only guess is with the current economic climate, sponsorship deals are lower than expected so they're trying to make up the lost revenue.

This £176 is for neutrals, the likes of us if we wanted to go, which we don't and won't.  £80 is the cheapest for supporters of either team which is still too much but I suppose about right when you see what is being charged for the League cup final.

I very much doubt the CL final will be a sell out if it does not include an English team.

A good point was made on Radio Five's World Football Phone-in during the night (if you've never listened, it's always one of the more intelligent and interesting footie phone-ins, so try it on iplayer). The point was made that English football fans are well known for grumbling about ticket prices, but then paying up anyway.
I know damn well that if Villa were in the final we'd moan like fuck about the price but sell our grandmas in the end to find the money for the ticket.
