I will watch very little of the olympics and find the whole thing a bit meh. No doubt it will end up costing millions and knowing this country we would make a loss on it. As for the ticket prices, that's just plain daft.

just bought 2 tickets for the athletics on 9th August including 200m final and chuffed to bits even at the prices charged - the way i see it i will enjoy that night more than all the home games this season for about the same money.

I was against the Olympics coming to Britain previously, but now it looks like I might get some work out of it so I don't mind. I've been appointed Sports Psychologist to the Swiss Ladies' Underwater Jenga Squad. Can't wait.

The torch handover is just about to get underway in Athens and which famous sporting star will be bringing it back to Blighty?

Why it's that Olympic legend himself..................David Beckham.

They hold it out of the window and have an distinguisher on hand.

He'll be knighted in a couple of years, for services to himself.

According to reports, one of the Greek presenters at the ceremony has already called him "Sir David Beckham".

Wouldn't Jenga blocks float?

I'm with UKRS - any activity where the "winner" is determined by someone's opinion and not by time, points, distance etc should be moved to X Factor Olympics

I'm with this too.  Anything decided by opinion is out.

Will someone going to an Olympic evernt in London try to gain entry with a soft drink and snacks from non sponsorship companies and let me know what happens please.

Will someone also let me know how much food and drink costs inside the stadium.

Cheers
