From what I hear he wants to sign for us, Its ok Harry saying no but if he puts in a transfer request then he'll have to sell.

Aren't all Spurs player purchases, sales and negotiations conducted by Daniel Levy anyway? I'm not sure how much input Redknapp has into these things, but from reading about the situation he could be little more than a mouthpiece. If someone offers an acceptable amount of money and the player wants to leave, he'll go.

This is why I hate loaning players from ''bigger'' teams, in this case sodding Tottenham. We blood one of their young prospects giving him invaluable experience at the top level and pay his wages. He goes back to them worth considerably more and in good form. Win-win for them.

Unless of course he signs for us.

Redknapp made it quite clear when he joined that it was to gain premier experience , never any mention of it becoming permanent- it's been a good deal for both clubs and we have both benefited from walker being here.

I fully expect him to be spurs first choice right back next season , but I would love to sign him, it would take a huge offer to even tempt them though unless we did a deal involving ash in exchange for walker plus a bit of cash our way too- can't see much chance of spurs selling though- worth a try though.

Arry could be England boss by then anyway or in prison.

Spurs have Hutton or Corluka there aswell who are both decent enough so if Walker goes back, I wouldn't mind us bidding for either of them.

Yes I'd take Hutton or corluka and I reckon one of them will be available.

I was very impressed by clyne last season when we played them in the cup, not heard much about him this season though and a bit surprised warnock never took him to qpr with him.

A few things here

1. There is a very BIG chance Harry will not be the Spurs manager come July.

a) People forget he is still under investigation for tax evasion. I think his court case is June, if found guilty, he would have to resign (in fact , I cant imagine the FA / Premier allowing him to manage)

b) If he is found innocent, he will probably take up the England job shortly. I reckon thats all the FA are waiting for (the verdict)

c) If by the chance Harry is Spurs manager, it is apparent he wants Ash - no better bargaining tool is there !

However, if by the chance we can't get Kyle, I'd go for Micah Richards. People forget how young he is !

micah richards was quoted at £25m in january , no chance of getting him at that price , and capello isnt going till 2012 so harry will be at spurs another year , cant see him being found guilty .

I'd be inclined to say there's a slim chance he won't be manager rather than a very big chance.
