N'Zogbia is a decent player but he's not as good as Ashley Young.

Fabio Capello on Young

"I've watched three or four Aston Villa games recently and I like the position Ashley Young is playing, centrally. He's really good there because he's free. He can run where he wants and is fast and technically good, so he can be dangerous. He's strong with his dribbling, his shooting and his passing – a good player."

Hopefully this will make him think it's best too stay at Villa, coupled with Bent being looked at in a different light from Capello and the media since joining Villa.

Surely he will see he can only play this position at Villa.

Arsenal-Fabregas
Man U- Rooney/Berbatov
Spurs- VDV
Chelsea- Torres/drogba
Liverpool-Carroll/Suarez

So if he went to any of these clubs they either have better than him in the central position or play 442, meaning he will definatly play out wide where ever he goes!

I agree, but i'd still rather see him on the wing.

Most relegated teams have a good player or two worth having a look at.  Man U got Roy Keane from a relegated Nottingham Forest.

what does Capello know,   fook all...      in fact I prefer Ash wide, looks a better player there..  but he did play well for England last night , but there again , he knew alot of clubs would be watching.

Of course, there's always the possibility that Capello's wrong and he's better out wide.....

Figeroa , rodallega and nzogbia are all decent enough players but they are probably the only 3 quality ones that Wigan have, Wigan turned down £12m on deadline day for nzogbia and they won't be able to hold onto him if relegated.

Youngs performance last night has done his England chances no harm at all.

The point is Ash likes playing centrally, he will not play wide regulary for Villa again, so unless you want to sell him get used to it.

My point was trying to think how Ash maybe thinking.

I might be wrong and he is happy to play wide at a bigger club in the CL.

But Charles N'Zogbia could easily be another Stewart Downing.

I'm being flippant.

I agree that there are usually some decent players to be had from the relegated sides I just haven't seen much to write home about when I've seen Wigan this season.
