It goes on from time to time. I'm sure some Villa fans got into the Sty one year, and painted AVFC on the pitch the night before a match.

Was the night before the 'infamous" 1987 game at the Sty in the Second Division.
Our lot robbed the goal nets as well. The crappy replacements were the cause of their "phantom" goal on the day of the game.

Anyone recall the crushing outside and in that day. The away was dangerously overcrowded. It all went mental when Bruno headed the winner in. Great day out

Yes, nightmare outside as so many Villa had turned up and their turnstiles couldn't cope. Missed a fair chunk of the first half but there were still loads behind us. I always wondered whether they all got in.
Same here. I remember we had to watch the game from the top right side of the Tilton, just as you get in, as it was impossible to move to anywhere else. I often wondered whether they deliberately just opened two poxy turnstiles to piss us off.

I wasn't aware of the circumstances surrounding that game, my Villa love affair really started in 88/89.  It sounds like it was one to remember.

I found this video: You Tube Highlights

The Villa end is packed, their end is deserted.  Somethings never change!

Drove past pub this morning to see 'BCFC ZULU' spray painted across the wall front.

Scum.

It should be easy for the police to catch the criminal:

A) A Blues fan smart enough to spell Zulu
B) A Blues fan with enough cash to buy the pain.

failing those two the easiest...

C) A blues fan with a face painted with spray paint from the attempt just before he spun the can around.

I had to stand in the blose end with my uncle (blose fan) the same panic was taking place outside their end, it was mental and i'm glad no one got hurt, I made it in just in time to see GT get his first!

remember it well, the game had started by the time i got in remember looking back and seeing thousands of villa turning up about half hour before kick off, once you got in there was plenty of space to the right, remember running the gauntlat through police horses and knuckle draggers, a great day

Was at that game, and remember there being  as many if not more Villa fans in the ground than dogshiters. Also singing "there's only 8,000 blues fans" - their average

Couldn't care less to be perfectly honest with you.

Amazing.

Why?

It's a bit of graffiti splashed on a pub. In the grand scheme of things it's a nothing bit of news.

Amazing that someone can post that at all.

Each to their won ideals I guess.

He's right, though.

Someone has sprayed something on the wall of a pub. Big deal.

Paulie Walnuts would be far from impressed with this sort of mindset.
