What was the 15 quid victim surcharge for?

Is that what Rooney paid him? Must have been fiver a goal and an extra fiver tip.

It must surely be that no entry sign as you drive up Newhall Street, before you get forced left towards the Hotel du Vin.

How can anyone not spot that and plough on regardless?

Must have been in a rush to get to Gregg's on New St, then.

Wow ... 6 month suspension for going the wrong way??  Your country's traffic laws are brutal!  Something like that here would only run you maybe a $100 fine.  Do they flog you with a garden hose if you're caught running a red light?  :o

No

He already had 9 points on his license.

Basically, something like getting done for speeding will get you 3 points. Unless you're doing, say, 100 plus in a 70 zone, in which case it will get you a lot more.

Points stay on your license for 3 (I think) years. If at any time, you get 12 or above, you get a ban. He got 3 for the no entry thing (and, to be honest, he's driven up one of the busier junctions in the centre of Birmingham against one way traffic, the fuckwit), which took him to 12 and a ban.

By the way, do you still get fifty lashes for doing more than 55 on a motorway over there?

;)

He already had 9 points on his license.

Does this make him our most prolific scorer now?

Yes ... that's way too slow to be considered safe.  Most people need to be doing at least 75 to keep with the flow of traffic. ;)

Its amazing how many people still try to turn right out of the NCP car park by the Holiday Inn on Hill Street into oncoming traffic.

Can't believe it was six months for just that? The offence is highway code violation and careless only!
